About One-2-One
One-2-One Charis Ministries was founded by Amira Perera. After suffering from severe domestic abuse as a child, Perera fell into the arms of a loving God. In her darkest hour Perera was saved by the presence of Jesus Christ who spoke three words Perera had never heard directed to her - "I love you." Ever-grateful and empowered by her miracle of saving grace, Perera now shares her story of redemption with all who need to hear that the love of God is powerful enough to heal even the deepest of wounds.
Theologian Walter Wink once wrote that "killing Jesus was like trying to destroy a dandelion seed-head by blowing on it." In the same way, Amira Perera has translated her sufferings into powerful life-lessons that are taking root in the hearts of her hearers. These include:
